Potpourri Satchel: Cut off about 6 inches about the foot of your pantyhose. Then put in some potpourri or even dryer beads like Unstoppables. Anything that is smelly and then tie it off. Then toss in the back of your car or closet, to give it a nice fresh smell.
Soap: If you use bar soap, then try this. Put your soap pieces that are two small into pantyhose. Then wash your hands with the pantyhose that has the soap in it. Works great on lathering you up, and saves you from losing those little soap pieces.
Onions and Garlic: Put your onions and/or garlic into a set of pantyhose, and hang in your pantry. Between each onion just tie a few knots in the pantyhose to give the veggies space so they don’t touch. It will keep them fresh longer.
Potted Soil Erosion: If you have houseplants when you go to plant or transplant them, do this tip. Take a little bit of pantyhose and place at the bottom of the pot. Then fill with dirt like normal, this will act as a liner that lets out excess water, but keeps the soil in.
Bug Jar: If you have a kid who loves to go out and find new bugs, grab those pantyhose. Use some of the pantyhose as a top for the jar. Just secure a rubber band around the pantyhose. This will let bugs breathe and keep them secure in the container.
Pool Skimmer: Take a pair of pantyhose and place on around your pool skimmer. Then clean pool like normal, it will really pick up all the small debris in the pool leaving it cleaner.
Find Small Objects: Ever lose the back to an earring or gem, or other small items? Well, take some pantyhose and cover the suction part to a vacuum. then wrap a rubber band around to secure the pantyhose. Then vacuum up an area to find small objects.
Clean Fish Tank: If you have a wet-dry vacuum, then this is a great idea for you. Cover the suction part with some pantyhose and secure with a rubber band. Then vacuum away, it will suck up the water without disturbing the gravel and tank accessories. You still have to relocate the fish, but it saves you from straining out the gravel each time!
Dryer vent hose air filter: If your dryer hose isn’t connected to a vent, cover it with the pantyhose to catch any loose dust and particles. It’s sheer enough to avoid over-heating, but catches all those potential allergens.
