This Orange Vinegar All Purpose Cleaner is the easiest diy cleaner ever. It works better than anything I’ve tried that’s store-bought. And if you’ve been staying away from vinegar-based cleaners because of the smell, this citrus version made from orange peels may change your mind. It improves the scent so much!
How to Make Orange Vinegar All Purpose Cleaner
I’ve been doing my own all purpose cleaners for the past 3 years basically because of 3 reasons:
1-. It’s so easy! I mean it literally takes me around 5 minutes from start to finish to make a batch big enough to lasts us a month.
2.- It’s super affordable. The price per batch is pennies, so that’s great for our frugal family.
3. The smell is mind blowing good: Ok I have a little confession to make. I’m a total scent snob, and I love to use products that smell delicious. This cleaner my friends is the most delicious smelling cleaner I’ve ever used.
However, my favorite thing is that it works on all the surfaces so if you live in a teeny tiny space or if you are looking to have a minimalist cleaning supply closet this is the best. I use it to clean all our bathroom, all or kitchen and all the surfaces in our living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms. The only thing I don’t use it for is to restore woods and clean the floor. The rest? It probably gets cleaned with this.
I prefer to keep it all original using vinegar and an orange, you can also amp up the scent (totally not needed but if you want is something you can do) with essential oils.
Then it’s just a matter of keeping it tightly closed and letting it sit for a couple of days so the orange releases all the aroma. The vinegar helps to even clean the water buildup and all the grease, so it’s a really powerful cleaner with none of the pesky chemicals.
