Pineapple Banana Smoothie

This recipe is really simple, and makes just one, on-the-go smoothie. I use a small rocket blender that makes it easy to just make individual sizes.

Ingredients:

  • Half a cup of fresh pineapple
  • Half a banana
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 2 ice cubes

Single Serving Pineapple Banana Smoothie

First, blend the pineapple. Fresh pineapple can be a little hard so it’s best to blend it alone for a few seconds. Then, break the banana into a few chunks and add it it. Once that is blended, add the milk and ice. The ice is really just to cool down the smoothie – even though the milk was cold, the whole thing was a little warm to me.

I can’t usually get myself to eat bananas, so adding them to a smoothie is an easy way for me to still get their nutrients. My three-year-old really liked this smoothie as well!
