Looking for a fun way to dress up drinks this summer? Well, you’ve come to the right place because I’m going to show you how to make cute (and delicious) fruity cubes to cool down your favorite beverage!
These only take a second to prep up and are a hit with kids and adults alike.
Dress-up Drinks with Fruity Cubes
You will need:
- An ice cube tray
- A styrofoam plate
- A knife
- 2 frozen fruit bars (these ones are mango)
These little fruity cubes are so simple and add a hint of flavor to your beverage. I especially like the mango ones in my iced tea because who doesn’t love mango iced tea, right? Plus, they add a pop of bright orange color to your tea which I think looks really pretty! You don’t have to use mango, experiment with different fruit flavors and see which ones your family enjoys most.
Okay, so, here we go! Take your frozen fruit bars out of the freezer and remove the popsicle sticks.
Take your de-popsicle-sticked fruit bars and put them on your plate. Start cutting them up into about half inch squares. They don’t have to be perfect, they are going to be ice cubes, remember?
Next, take your little frozen fruit chunks and place a couple of them in each compartment of your ice cube trays. Fill the ice cube trays the rest of the way with water and freeze.
Hey, Presto! You’re done! Pop these little guys out and use them to brighten up (and cool down) your beverages this summer.
