I’m a bargain shopper. I rarely pay full price for anything, but I love swinging into Starbucks or any other coffee shop in my proximity. My husband jokingly calls this little habit of mine “Five Bucks” Paying close to five bucks for a coffee isn’t the most economical thing for me to do on a daily basis, but with four kids–I need the caffeine fix!
Enter the Keurig Rivo.
Keurig Rivo Review
I bought the Keurig Rivo Cappuccino and Latte System on Amazon, along with gourmet coffee syrups so that I could make my favorite coffee drinks at home. You can make both hot cappuccino or latte style drinks, or if you’re in the mood for a cold drink you can use the frother on cold.
Here’s what I love about it: The milk frothing attachment. I’ve tried the hand frothers, which normally make a mess ( Maybe that’s just me!) plus you need to heat the milk on the stove top while using the hand frother. With the Keurig Rivo, you select the setting you want–cappuccino or latte and push the button. The milk is heated during the frothing process!
The Lavazza Espresso pods that you use with the machine are good quality as well, and variety of samples come with the Rivo when you purchase.
Overall, I LOVE this machine. I love whipping up gourmet drinks in my kitchen when we have company.
The only thing I wish were different about the Keurig Rivo is the espresso options. I wish you could buy a refillable cup similar to the ones you can purchase for a traditional Keurig machine, as I like to grind my own espresso sometimes. For this reason I still use my french press on occasion.
I still swing into the coffee shop sometimes, but with the Keurig Rivo in my kitchen, I find that I can make delicious drinks myself for a fraction of the cost! This post may contain affiliate links. For more information please review our disclosure policy.
